Walking With Dinosaurs: The Smell of Prey
An insight into the hunting habits of one of the most successful breeds of Dinosaur.
The Hunt for the Lady Bug
Lady Bugs are becoming more scarce. Maybe even unable to be found.
Just 20 years ago the Lady Bug was very abundant. I can remember playing with them. Now I don’t remember the last time I saw one.
Scientist are asking for people’s help. Back in Oct of 2008, they asked people to take pictures of any Lady Bugs they saw and send the pictures to them. That way they could try and document where there may still be some Lady Bugs found.
One Lady Bug in particular they were searching for was the nine spotted and the two spotted type.
There are over 400 different Lady Bugs types in North America but many are becoming hard to find.
Farmers at one time depended on these bugs to help protect their crops from other insects. They are very important to our forest too.
If you see a Lady Bug, and have a camera, it is still possible they may be interested in receiving a picture of it. Be sure not to harm the bug. They have become very rare.

T-Rex – attack of the dinosaur

Are You Concerned About Chained Dogs?
There are many chained dogs in communities. Some of these dogs never have interaction with their owners other then at feeding time.
These dogs can become aggressive when left for days or months at a time on a chain. Even if they have a dog house, they need human interaction.
They are very social animals.
When chained, they are bored. They are lonely and feel so out of the loop.
There have been laws passed in areas all over the United States. Do you have one in your area? Is it one that helps the dog?
You can check things out at this website and maybe you can help dogs in your area live off their leash.

Sharks vs dinosaurs
Sharks evolved long before Dinosaurs and did not rely on air to breathe. A look at how a dinosaur managed to outwit a shark and survive in the water.
A Kitten With Two Faces
The kitten was born in Charleston, W.Va. After it was born, the owner took the two faced kitten to the vet. The kitten was only going to have a 50% chance of growing up according to the vet.
The mother has rejected the kitten.
Two Face, the kitten is named, has two complete faces. It has two sets of eyes, two noses and two mouths.
The two mouths work separately of each other, leading the vet to believe that the kitten could actually have two esophagus’s but only one stomach.
As the kitten grows, if it survives, the vet will watch it closely and check out it’s inside anatomy.

Luxury Doggie Hotel
Your pet could be shuttled to a hotel for dogs that he/she would really love if you lived in Germany.
The dogs are spoiled with a doggie beach, no leashes, their own lounge chair to sit on and lots of space to run.
If it’s a rainy day and they would really rather stay inside, they are offered a pet friendly theater, art exhibitions or just their own private room. In their rooms they have classical music playing for them.
The dogs are also permitted to run freely and bark until they are just tired of barking.
The hotel is located in Berlin and is called the “Paw Hotel.”
There are two more branches that will open soon due to the popularity of the hotel. One in Hilden and one in Jade.
The atmosphere is good, no fighting dogs. They all seem happy and enjoy their surroundings.
