Snake In Washing Machine
The last thing I would want to find as I reached down into the washing machine to pull out clothes, is a snake.
This is what a lady discovered as she was pulling wash out of the machine. The snake was about 5 feet long and mixed in with her clothing.
Wendy Foley, a 51 year old woman, discovered a rather large corn snake that must have slithered into the washer while the door was ajar. Somehow it survived a whole wash cycle.
When Wendy opened the washer door, the type which was a glass front loading door, she saw something that didn’t look right.
“I took it to be part of a pair of jeans and then I wondered if it was a toy snake that children use. But then it poked its tongue out at me.”
She notified the SPCA and was told it would be the next day before they could come and remove it.
Her and her boys were frightend that it would escape the washer and roam through the house. They stayed outside for a while, but then later went to bed.
Wendy didn’t get much sleep that night as she kept watch fearing the snake had gotten out.
Wendy is very scared of snakes and has no idea where the snake came from.

A Two Headed Bearded Dragon
The Bearded Dragon or dragons, were born near Dayton, Ohio. They are at this time 2 and a half months old.
Their story sounds like a Greek myth where people would fear the big two headed dragon, but these two little dragons are to be pets.
Todd Ray, a collector of two headed species, was reading about the dragons in a forum online. He convinced the owner at the time, to sell them to him. The owner didn’t really want to give up the dragons, but Ray did some good convincing. They cost Ray close to $5000.
The dragons were transported by an animal transport company to ensure their safety of arrival.
They are called Pancho and Lefty. The dragons do well together except when it comes to one wanting to eat while one is tired and trying to sleep.
Ray runs a Freakshow with his two headed animals. He stayed home and didn’t run the show for a few days to make sure his new arrivals settled in nicely.
They will have a special terrarium set up for just them. It will maintain just the right humidity they need in order to be comfortable and survive.
For now, they will not be introduced to people in the Freakshow. Ray wants them to be ready and not get nervous being in front of people.
He says these two are beyond being special and he wants to protect them.

Arrested For Smuggling Monkeys
Roberto Cabrera was caught with 18 tiny monkeys in a girdle he was wearing beneath his t-shirt.
The officials noticed a very unusual shape protruding from the mans t-shirt area. Knowing he wasn’t pregnant, they decided to do a search to find out what the lump was.
He had just arrived at the Mexico City’s International airport. He had been on a commercial flight out of Lima.
While doing the body search, they found that Roberto was transporting 18 tiny monkeys in a girdle. They were in little pouches hooked onto the girdle. Two of the monkeys had died on the trip.
Roberto was then charged with trafficking endangered species. The little monkeys were only 6 inches long. He told the officials that he had been transporting them in a suitcase. He took them out of the suitcase and attached them to his girdle because he felt X-rays may hurt the monkeys.

Ship Infested With Spiders Not Welcome
A ship which pulled into the port of Guam in the US territory was sent back out to sea.
The cargo on the ship as it was being unloaded was flowing with spiders. There were thousands of spiders on board the ship.
Guam’s Department of Agriculture found there were hundreds of very large spiders and thousands of small ones that were seen on the cargo as it was being unloaded from the ship.
The cargo consisted of insulation and beams for building houses.
They returned the cargo to the ship and sent it back out to sea. It is not to be permitted to dock. The last place the ship had been was in South Korea.
It is not known the type of spiders which were on board the ship. It is a type that is not found on Guam. Bringing in another species of spider not natural to the island could mess with its environment.
They would have been able to build 18,000 houses that would set up a housing for workers in the village. These would be temporary workers.
