Dog training, see what this cute dog can do. He is a winner.

The baby tiger is only 2 months old. It had been sedated to keep it quiet and placed amongst some stuffed toy tigers to hide it from authorities.

Last Sunday, Aug 22nd, 2010, the Thai lady was trying to board a plane to fly to Iran but was having a hard time with a big bag at the check in point.

They took x-rays of the bag. In the x-ray there appeared to be a live animal.

They called in the wild life officers who checked out the bag and found the baby cub.

The cub is now being taken care of at the rescue center of the dept of national parks.

They are not sure if the cub was wild and captured or was bred in captivity.

The little lamb is living on a Chinese farm. It was born with only 2 legs.

Cui Jinxiu, is raising the baby lamb. She said the lamb was a twin born on their farm 2 months ago.

She told how the first lamb was typical but she was amazed by the second lamb that was born.

“It looked normal but just lay on the grass and when I looked again I was amazed to see it had only two legs.”

Since a two legged lamb would have a difficult time surviving, Cui and her family decided to feed it with baby bottles. They wanted to give it a chance.

The morning after it was born, the astonishing lamb was able to stand alone. At first it had difficulty balancing itself, but with time it learned how. Now the lamb lifts it butt up high into the air and is able to stand with no problem.

Even though the little lamb only has two legs, it has tried to be as normal as possible.

The lamb is doing fine surviving and running with the rest of the flock.

When Cui is around, and the lamb hears her voice, it always runs to her and rubs it’s head on her pants. The lamb is always happy to see Cui.

Suzie is a 56 year old chimpanzee. She totally surprised the zoo keepers when she gave birth on Aug 18th to a baby girl.

The mommy and her new baby girl are doing fine.

The zoo personnel did not think that a chimp the age of Suzie was able to become pregnant. She was on longer being kept on birth control because she had some medical problems.

Well, Suzie proved them all wrong.

There is no record of any other chimp in the older age group that has given birth.

Suzie is also the third oldest chimp on record at this time that is recognized by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Typically a chimp living in zoos has a life span of approximately 60 years.

The baby giraffe named, Hope, came into the world with it’s back legs deformed. She was unable to walk. The tendons in her foot would not let her legs grow normally which made her unable to walk.

Hope is only one month old.

With the help of the medical group at the Topeka Zoo, Hope has been fitted with vivid pink and purple prosthetic shoes which will keep her hoofs in the right alignment so that she can walk.

She has gone through being fitted with hard cast, from which the shoes were made.

Hope can now be a normal giraffe. As she is out with the other giraffes, it is easy to pick her out due to the colors of her shoes.

According to Brendan Wiley, who is the director at the Topeka Zoo, it is too early to tell the out come at this time. So far she is progressing very well. Only time will tell.
