First the Pink Panther now The Pink Cat
A man who found a pink cat in his back yard was told to sleep it off when he informed his wife that a pink cat had been tossed into their yard. He had just come home from the local pub.
The pink kitty was turned in to the RSPCA. The veterinary surgeon at the facility, Penny Gillespie told how the cat was such a vivid pink that she seemed to glow in the dark. She also mentioned how she cares for a lot of cats and this is the first time she has seen such a vivid one.
The owner of the pink cat has been located. She wasn’t discarded as at first thought.
The all white kitty had only been dyed to match her owners hair, very pink.
Her owner stated she made sure it was a safe thing to do. She loves pink, her own hair is pink and lots of her clothing is pink.
She got the idea from a US Television program.
The cats name is Oi! Kitty and her owner is working on getting her back home.

Man Leaves Dog Behind
Lots of people are struggling to pay for their homes and other bills. Some have gone to the degree of dropping off their pets because they are unable to take care of them any longer.
Was this the case with Ginger?
I can only imagine how Ginger felt when possibly the man she loved and adored took her for a walk in Dorset. She was most likely happy to be out for an outing for the day.
Ginger walks with a limp, from what we don’t know.
The man after walking with her a bit, got back into his Kia Rio hatchback and drove off leaving Ginger behind trying her best to keep up. The limp kept her from doing that.
The RSPCA has a video of the man driving away.
They have tracked the man to his home in the Preston area and plan on questioning him and possibly others that were in the car at the time.
Ginger is currently residing at the Woodlands Farm Kennels in Bridport. She is opening up to the caretakers more now and is becoming more social.
Many people have called wanting to give Ginger a home.
Being left behind in such a way has to be an emotional trauma to a pet.
It is not known yet if she did live at the same residence as the man who dropped her off or if maybe she was a stray he was trying to avoid.
Ginger is sure to get a good home now.

7 Elephants Die When Hit by Train
In India, as a train carrying goods was traveling at a high speed, it collided with a group of elephants.
5 of the elephants that were hit died right away from their injuries, and two more died later. An 8th elephant was also injured but it’s injuries were not life threatening.
It’s a sad story of how elephants try to protect and take care of each other.
There were two baby elephants that had become trapped on the train tracks.
The other elephants were trying to set them free when the train hit them.
The tracks had to be closed for hours after the accident. Again elephants are very emotional about the death of other elephants. There were other elephants at the scene that were guarding the dead and hurt ones to keep predators away from them.
It’s not uncommon for trains and elephants to have collisions in India
