In the video, the young chimpanzees are practicing their skills they will need as they get older. While they are playing, an adult chimpanzee is watching over them. The youngsters are swinging from the branches a skill needed when they are older when they need to quickly move through the trees. They also eat most of the time in the trees and sleep there as well. They gather up areas of leaves in the trees to form a bed.The adult chimpanzee pulls off a branch and strips it to chew on as it watches over the youngsters. Seeing this, one of the young ones finds it’s own branch, pulls off the leaves and sits down to chew on it copying the adult.
