Lots of people are struggling to pay for their homes and other bills. Some have gone to the degree of dropping off their pets because they are unable to take care of them any longer.
Was this the case with Ginger?
I can only imagine how Ginger felt when possibly the man she loved and adored took her for a walk in Dorset. She was most likely happy to be out for an outing for the day.
Ginger walks with a limp, from what we don’t know.
The man after walking with her a bit, got back into his Kia Rio hatchback and drove off leaving Ginger behind trying her best to keep up. The limp kept her from doing that.
The RSPCA has a video of the man driving away.
They have tracked the man to his home in the Preston area and plan on questioning him and possibly others that were in the car at the time.
Ginger is currently residing at the Woodlands Farm Kennels in Bridport. She is opening up to the caretakers more now and is becoming more social.
Many people have called wanting to give Ginger a home.
Being left behind in such a way has to be an emotional trauma to a pet.
It is not known yet if she did live at the same residence as the man who dropped her off or if maybe she was a stray he was trying to avoid.
Ginger is sure to get a good home now.
