Who would have thought a member of one of the smallest breeds of dogs would pass the exam to be a police dog.
In Japan it did just that.
The Chihuahua, a dog that got it’s name from a Mexican state now has a member of it’s breed on the Japan police force.
Momo, or Peach, has joined the search and rescue team. She is only 6.6 pounds but will be very beneficial when it comes to searching for earthquake victims or other disasters where a dog can be used to crawl into very small tight places.

Momo is seven years old and will start her career in January.
