Jellyfish Lake is very popular place for snorkeling. There are millions of jellyfish swimming in the waters of Jellyfish Lake. The jellyfish migrate across the lake everyday.
The lake is attached to the ocean through crevices and tunnels that are found in the limestone on the Miocene reef. Even though it is attached to the ocean, it is also isolated and the conditions of the lake are able to support a variety of different species.
The jelly fish are of the golden color and have changed over time to be quite different from the ones that live in lagoons close by. They are non stinging and are not dangerous for people to swim around.
Jellyfish Lake is found in the Republic of Palau.
I never really gave any thought to wanting to swim with jellyfish until I watched this movie.
It looks to be a very peaceful experience. I think I would like it.
